This tour takes us through some of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. From Dublin, a UNESCO City of Literature, to the gorgeous seaside village of Kinsale. Then from Kinsale to Killarney, on the shores of Lough Leane in County Kerry.
Irish scenery is some of the most dramatic and spectacular in all of Europe, and the golf courses that we will play on this Ireland Golf Getaway are equally so, with all of the courses we play ranked in the Top 30 in Ireland.
Enjoy playing Waterville Golf Links, Dooks Links, Ballybunion Links’ Old Course, Old Head Links and Cork Golf Club
Many of these picturesque courses overlook the wild Atlantic, so prepare to be distracted while playing a round!
Off the course, we will enjoy high tea, walking tours, dinner and music at local gastro pubs as we explore the region together.
All of the accommodation we’ll stay in are small boutique 4 star hotels, that were built before the modern cookie cutter approach that you see in so many chain hotels now. These family run hotels showcase true Irish hospitality, with cosy bars with fireplaces and many comfy nooks to enjoy a drink and a chat.
We will visit many picture-perfect Irish small towns on this tour. Kinsale is a one of the most picturesque, with blocks of brightly coloured buildings, a thriving harbour, and a serious foodie scene. Kinsale has a long-held reputation as a home of impeccable dining, and it has more than its fair share of excellent restaurants.
The drive around the Dingle Peninsula, on Kerry’s Wild Atlantic Way, is one of the most scenic drives in Ireland. The peninsula is dominated by the range of mountains that form its spine. The magnificent coastline consists of steep sea-cliffs, dramatic headlands and sandy beaches.
This Ireland Golf Getaway will be filled with golf on breathtaking courses, Irish hospitality, great food and really, really good company.
