Nestled within a picturesque stretch of coastline, just 10 miles north of Dublin City, Portmarnock Golf Club stands proudly on a narrow strip of sandy dunes. A testament to its timeless excellence, it boasts a rich and storied history, attracting a plethora of renowned players and hosting numerous significant events. Portmarnock witnessed legendary figures like Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead navigate its challenging links to victory in the 1960 Canada Cup. It also saw the triumph of a new generation of American golfers, including Phil Mickelson and David Duval, in the memorable Walker Cup of 1991. These events, coupled with the hosting of the European Tour’s Irish Open Championship on 19 occasions, underscore the rigorous test presented by the 27-hole links course. As Tiger Woods himself remarked, “One of the most enjoyable links courses I have had the opportunity to play.”

Designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, the North Course at The K Club stands out as one of the most breathtaking courses in all of Europe. Consistently ranked among the top parkland courses in Ireland, this golfing gem has welcomed some of the world’s greatest golfers. The course has hosted numerous prestigious events such as the Ryder Cup in 2006, the 2016 Irish Open, and eleven European Opens, and will again the North Course will host the Irish Open in September 2025, after our round and 2027.

A visit to The Long Room library at Trinity College in Dublin City is an awe-inspiring experience. Home to 200,000 of Trinity’s oldest books including the Book of Kells, dating back to the 9th Century, The Long Room is the longest single-chamber library in the world, spanning 65 meters in length. It’s simply stunning.

The Dunluce Links, proud host to the 148th Open Championship in 2019 and the 153rd Open Championship in July 2025, stands as one of the premier golf courses globally, currently ranked at an impressive No. 14 in the world. Renowned for its challenging greens, this spectacular links course is widely recognised for its difficulty and breathtaking beauty. It takes its name from the nearby ruins of the medieval Dunluce Castle, perched on a basalt outcropping overlooking the sea between Portrush and Portballintrae. The magnificent layout not only provides a fair and challenging test for golfers, but also showcases stunning scenery that will leave you in awe. On this tour, you will play Royal Portrush, before the professionals battle it out to lift the Claret Jug from 13-20 July 2025.
