What is your golf journey where and when did you start?
I grew up in country Victoria in a small town called Ballan. Our property adjoined the local golf course, and I would sometimes join my Dad and bash some balls around. I started playing during the Summer months when I lived in Whistler Canada, when I returned to Australia I had lessons and started playing semi-regularly until work and travel got in the way, so the clubs collected dust for many many years. I live across the road from the Golf course in Byron. I literally looked at the course every day for 8 years before I actually played a round. Covid “lockdown” helped and because Byron had very few restrictions and golf was a great distraction and it was the perfect time, with freedom to play regularly and try and improve. After 12 months I was playing competition 3 times a week and absolutely addicted (albeit still not very good)
What do you enjoy most about your role with G&T?
I have worked in Travel and Hospitality for a long time and have had some incredible experiences both professionally and personally, but being able to talk about travel to incredibly beautiful destinations combined with talking about golf is a pretty unique combination.
And I love organising stuff, so organising people and helping create great experiences is my dream role
What would be your favourite G&T tour for 2026?
This is almost an impossible question to answer because they are all amazing destinations, but if I was forced to choose one, probably India for the uniqueness of travelling to such an extraordinary country and playing golf whilst there. India is such a diverse country full of beauty and endless surprises

What is the best course you have ever played?
Pemberton Valley just out of Whistler (but the bears can make it a little scary)
Jacks Point Queenstown
Which club is on your bucket list to play?
Ireland, and Japan, and Hawaii, and Italy
What do you think is the most important attribute of a tour company?
Reputation, reliability and value for money. Having a quality product and ensuring guests receive great customer service
What do you love most about travelling?
Food, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures. Those unexpected encounters and experiences that stay with you forever.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
I love walking on the beach and hiking. Playing golf on weekends with family and friends.
I’m a Victorian, so in Winter I love watching or going to the AFL.
In summer I love tennis, the beach, and Pickleball and Grand Prix.
Spending time with friends, going to see live music, theatre and love a long lunch.
