In a world where the pursuit of productivity takes the spotlight, tending to self and self-care practices are often another ‘chore’ on the list. Rarely are self-care practices engaged in as a prioritised preventative strategy. It’s time to change that. We often find ourselves pushing against the natural tides of not only our own energy cycles, but the cycles inherent in the flow of life and nature. As a counterbalance, we are now needing to look for more and more routines, rituals and ways of living that roll with the inherent diversity in our energy levels, that ebb and flow in harmony with not only our own unique cycles, but with the rhythms of the months, seasons and lifespan.
