Vineyard visit and wine tasting in the foothills of Cortona
Before arriving in Perugia we will visit La Braccesca in the foothills of Cortona, one of the most famous vineyards in the area, where the family of this estate have been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries, since 1385. The visit will start from a short walk in the vineyard, proceed than to the production area where grapes are stored, and bottled, ending in the marvellous terrace dedicated to the tasting.

On our journey to Rome, we will be stopping in Orvieto, one of the most striking, memorable, and enjoyable hill towns in central Italy. Orvieto sits majestically high above the valley floor atop a big chunk of tufo volcanic stone (tuff), overlooking cypress-dotted Umbrian plains. Today we will be enjoying a 3 course lunch at a local trattoria followed by a walking tour of the town centre, with a local guide.

Situated in the heart of historic Rome and just a short stroll from Piazza di Spagna and Via dei Condotti, Hotel Mozart boasts a prime location that is hard to beat. Ranked #4 in Italy – Opened in 1961 the West course at Olgiata, the oldest of the two courses at the club, has hosted the Italian Open, multiple times. In 2010 Jim Fazio performed an extensive renovation when fifteen holes were modified. All 27 holes at Olgiata are set in sumptuous parkland surroundings where the terrain is mildly undulating and fairways are separated by avenues of magnificent mature trees. The two 9-hole loops of the West course fan out from the clubhouse in opposite directions with many of the well-bunkered holes gently doglegging left or right.
Walking Food Tour with Tastings through Trastevere
After golf today, we will head off on a culinary delight on our walking food tour of Trastevere. Colourful Trastevere is a funky, bohemian area that clings to its centuries-old, working-class roots. It’s known for traditional and innovative trattorias, craft beer pubs and artisan shops, with narrow streets with historic houses. You will enjoy a variety of local Italian dishes in this world-famous city.

Walking Tour of Orvieto with Local Guide with 3 course lunch
On our journey to Rome, we will be stopping in Orvieto, one of the most striking, memorable, and enjoyable hill towns in central Italy. Orvieto sits majestically high above the valley floor atop a big chunk of tufo volcanic stone (tuff), overlooking cypress-dotted Umbrian plains. Today we will be enjoying a 3 course lunch at a local trattoria followed by a walking tour of the town centre, with a local guide.

Situated in the heart of historic Rome and just a short stroll from Piazza di Spagna and Via dei Condotti, Hotel Mozart boasts a prime location that is hard to beat. Ranked #4 in Italy – Opened in 1961 the West course at Olgiata, the oldest of the two courses at the club, has hosted the Italian Open, multiple times. In 2010 Jim Fazio performed an extensive renovation when fifteen holes were modified. All 27 holes at Olgiata are set in sumptuous parkland surroundings where the terrain is mildly undulating and fairways are separated by avenues of magnificent mature trees. The two 9-hole loops of the West course fan out from the clubhouse in opposite directions with many of the well-bunkered holes gently doglegging left or right.
Walking Food Tour with Tastings through Trastevere
After golf today, we will head off on a culinary delight on our walking food tour of Trastevere. Colourful Trastevere is a funky, bohemian area that clings to its centuries-old, working-class roots. It’s known for traditional and innovative trattorias, craft beer pubs and artisan shops, with narrow streets with historic houses. You will enjoy a variety of local Italian dishes in this world-famous city.

Tonight is yours to do as you like. After your walking food tour, you may like to put your feet up and settle in for the evening.
