We’ll play both the iconic South & North courses at Torrey Pines, perched on the coastal cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Torrey Pines has hosted the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open since the 1960’s, and the South Course has hosted the US Open, twice.
Overlooking the world-renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course with views of the Pacific Ocean, we will stay at the 5 star The Lodge at Torrey Pines. This award winning luxury resort’s architecture is modelled after the famed Gamble and Blacker houses in Pasadena – two of the finest examples of early 1900s Craftsman-style architecture.
From Torrey Pines we head to the oasis of Palm Springs, known for its stylish hotels, spas, golf courses and mid-century modernist architecture. Bordered by four mountain ranges, the laid-back vibe, and mix of stunning natural features made Palm Springs the place to escape to, since the early 1920’s.
La Quinta Resort & Club is the ultimate Palm Springs luxury retreat, featuring a world-class Spa, PGA West golf courses and 41 swimming pools. It’s here we will stay during our Palm Springs visit. Set beneath the Santa Rosa Mountains, this 5 star desert resort, is the ideal base camp for us as we play some of the areas best golf courses. With flower-strewn patios, tranquil gardens, and a phenomenal spa, you’ll have to drag yourself away to play golf. The Coachella Valley is known for having some of the most beautiful desert courses in America. La Quinta is home to 5 of them, including the Stadium Course PGA West, the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course and the Mountain Course.
Off the course, on this Torrey Pines & Palm Springs Golf Tour we will enjoy drinks and dinners together, and there will be optional shopping trips available to the nearby Premium Outlet Malls.
