Can you join a golf tour if you don’t play golf?
Absolutely.
In fact, many of our favourite guests at Golf & Tours are non‑golfers travelling with a golfing partner. Our tours are designed so that your time off the course feels every bit as special, relaxed and memorable as your partner’s time on it. You’re not an add‑on to their holiday, you’re a fully considered part of it.

More than just accommodation and tee times
Our guests don’t choose us simply for hotels and inclusions. They choose us for the ease and confidence of having everything coordinated for them, especially in destinations like Morocco, India, South Africa or Japan where language and logistics can feel overwhelming. From navigating golf bookings and tee times to arranging transport and smoothing out day‑to‑day details, we handle the moving parts so you can simply enjoy being there together.
Instead of juggling maps, transfers and timings, you can relax into the experience, knowing that the organisation is taken care of. That way, when you do meet up at the end of the day, you’re both arriving from days that felt effortless and enjoyable.

Flexibility for non‑golfers
Because every tour group is different, we don’t force non‑golfers into a rigid, pre‑set program. We rarely know in advance exactly how many non‑golfers will be on each tour or what they’ll be interested in. Rather than locking everything in too early, we keep space in the itinerary that we shape once we know who is travelling with us.

This means your days aren’t “filler” added as an afterthought. They’re tailored around what you actually enjoy, whether that’s food, culture, wandering local neighbourhoods, something more active, or a bit of everything. We love having those conversations with you before and during the tour so we can fine‑tune plans as we go.
Dedicated non‑golfer activity days
On each tour, we set aside specific days in the itinerary for dedicated non‑golfer experiences. While the golfers are out on the course, you’ll have your own plans to look forward to, thoughtfully curated, not just “waiting time” until the round is over.

Depending on the destination and your interests, your non‑golf days might include:
- Food and market visits with time to taste and browse
- Cultural sights, temples and museums
- Neighbourhood wandering and shopping in local districts
- Something more active, like walking or light hiking
- Or a mix of all of the above
The idea is to create experiences that feel right for both you and the destination. We don’t take a cookie‑cutter approach; we prefer to design days that feel special, meaningful and worth talking about over dinner that night.

Travelling together, enjoying different days
One of the loveliest things about our tours is how well they work for couples and friends with different interests. You might start the day together over breakfast, then head off in different directions – one to the course, one into the city or countryside and meet back in the afternoon with plenty of stories to share.
Instead of compromising so that one person misses out, you both get to have “your” kind of day. Our job is to make sure both halves of that story feels equally rewarding, so no one feels like they’re just along for the ride.

You’ll be fully looked after
From the moment you arrive, our goal is for you to feel fully looked after, whether you swing a club or not. Our team is there in‑destination to support you, answer questions, smooth out any little hiccups and make adjustments as needed.

Your time off the golf course should feel like your own mini‑holiday – rich, relaxed and enjoyable, not like you’re just tagging along on someone else’s trip. So, if you’re a non‑golfer wondering whether a Golf & Tours holiday is for you, the answer is a resounding yes.
